What I help with

Neurodivergent means having a mind that works differently from what society treats as typical. In its inclusive sense, the word covers ways of thinking you are born with and those that develop through life, including mental health conditions.

The term was coined by neurodivergent activist Kassiane Asasumasu.

Born neurodivergent

Lifelong differences in how you think, focus, sense, learn, move and connect.

Autism

Affirming support for autistic adults, whether or not you have a diagnosis.

ADHD

Attention, restlessness, time and energy, and getting things done.

AuDHD

Autism and ADHD together, diagnosable side by side since DSM-5 (2013).

Dyslexia

Differences in reading, spelling and processing written words.

Dyspraxia

Differences in coordination, movement and planning everyday tasks.

Neurodivergence that develops through life

Conditions that change how your mind works, which the inclusive definition also counts.

OCD

Intrusive thoughts, compulsions and worries that keep coming back.

Anxiety & Stress

Worry, panic, overthinking and feeling on edge.

Mood & Depression

Low mood, loss of interest, and mood swings.

Schizophrenia spectrum

Psychosis, unusual experiences and related conditions, with steady, respectful care.

Bipolar disorder

Highs and lows in mood and energy, and finding your balance.

Neurodivergence also includes
  • Dyscalculia
  • Tourette's & tics
  • PTSD

You don't need a diagnosis to book. If you're not sure whether I can help, book a first consultation or email appointments@varam.care.

Community

Conversation Circles

Community sessions, online and in person, where 6 to 12 people come together to talk about a shared topic. Each conversation is facilitated by a mental health professional, so everyone can take part safely, share what helps them cope, and meet others who understand.

  • 6–12 people
  • Online and in person
  • Facilitated by Dr. Pratibha Vinod

Example topics

  • Living and working as a neurodivergent adult
  • Coping with anxiety and everyday stress
  • Burnout, rest and recovery
  • Supporting someone you care about
  • Postpartum mental health

Circles are a space for shared conversation and support. They aren't therapy or a substitute for a consultation.
